Arlene Griffin and YogaForever
Arlene Griffin has enjoyed teaching yoga since 1991. She has been a member of the Himalayan Institute Teachers Association (HITA) and has done scores of intensives, seminars, retreats, workshops, and teacher trainings with numerous wonderful teachers in many different schools of the yoga tradition.
For three years she published a yoga newsletter (Synthesis) and her Spirit Flow audiotape received a rave review from Yoga Journal in June 2002 (to read the review click here: Spirit Flow).
Arlene has studied the Tantra Yoga tradition with Yogiraj Rod Stryker since 1997 and with his mentor, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, since the Maha Kumbha Mela in 2001. Through over 20 years of practice and teaching, she has discovered that yoga can support transformation in every area of ones life. Above all, Arlene believes yoga is a celebration of the unfoldment of each person's unique expression of Higher Consciousness.
Arlene believes yoga has saved her life, and she tries to give back whenever possible. Yoga by Donation for Donation enables students to pay whatever they can and a donation to be made to humanitarian efforts via the Himalayan Institute.
